About

I was born in Oakville, Ontario (near Toronto), but my more formative years were spent in Ottawa.

I went to Carleton University, graduated in 2003.

Previous work experience has included: trimming Christmas Trees, working as a Product Engineer for a Japanese Automaker, and working in the Engineering Department of Ottawa’s public transit service (OC Transpo).

I’m also an alumus of an exchange program called the JET Programme (Japanese Exchange and Teaching). When on JET, I became a member of the Kumamoto SCOA Ice Hockey Club.

I lived in in Kyoto and studied Japanese at Ritsumeikan Univervisty.

I’m doing my Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, near Aachen Germany.
